My daddy’s favorite sport is fishing.

我爸爸最喜欢的运动是钓鱼。

He often goes fishing on weekends.

周末他常常在去钓鱼。

He always fishes for many hours without any fish.

但他却总是一连好几个小时钓不到一条鱼。

But it does not worry him.

但他并不气馁。

Instead of fish, he often catches old shoes and rusty tins.

他常常钓不到鱼，却钓到旧鞋子和生锈的罐子。

I often go fishing with my daddy, but I am even less lucky.

我也经常和爸爸去钓鱼，但我更难。

I never catch anything, not even a rusty tin.

我什么也钓不到，甚至连生锈的罐子也钓不到。

But as I get older, I learn a lot about fishing.

但随着年龄的增长，我学到了很多关于钓鱼的技巧。

Now, I go fishing with my daddy, I sometimes catch more fish than he does.

My daddy also praises me as a good fisherman.
