要
Millenium是一支来自波兰的久负盛名的新前卫乐队，其风格可简单描述为是pink floyd和marillion的叠加，尤其是极其类似gilmour的吉他令我印象深刻。从1999年开始已经发布了14张专辑，今年将发布新专《the web》。Millenium的巅峰期在2008-2013年，他们发布了我称为三部曲的《exist》、《puzzles》（双cd）和《ego》，每一张都堪称是新前卫的经典。其中尤以头尾两张我最喜欢，puzzles虽然更雄心勃勃，但音乐性上不如那两张。而这张《exist》也是公认的Millenium的最高杰作了，专辑由四首10-15分钟的歌曲组成。第一首Embryo完全是pink floyd附体，如果告诉我是pf巅峰期遗失的歌曲我也相信，第二首Up & Down和第三首Rat Race较为摇滚、多变，其mellotrons和键盘给人留下深刻印象，第四首Road To Infinity是一首更为壮阔的史诗，中间的柔和mellotrons段落和最后长达数分钟的gilmour式的吉他solo将专辑推向最后的 *** 。在另一张杰作《ego》中，Millenium将优美雅致的萨克斯加入了进去，别有一番风味，不过《ego》我认为始终不如《exist》，《exist》每一首歌都经典无比，而《ego》有几首平平无奇或者说在重复自身的歌曲。Millenium头五年的几张专辑其实不必听，没什么令人兴奋的地方，而在巅峰期过后的专辑虽然比较成熟圆润（更流行化），但少了分惊艳的感觉。虽然如此，但还是无比期待今年的新专《The Web》，期待给我们带来新的体验。毕竟去年发布ep、 *** 集、录音室专辑大合集，尤其是其中一张ep还命名为《The Last Three Songs》，令人有点担心这个乐队就要解散了，还好！若你是pf的忠实粉丝，是新前卫的忠实粉丝，是慢速前摇的忠实粉丝，Millenium是你应该去仔细聆听和享受的。
