Copacabana 下面的评论转自 . 第一次知道Copacabana是在大学的时候看老友记听到的，RACHEL在巴利的婚礼上随性演唱的歌曲给我一种感觉，那样的旋律轻松的想让人把所有的不悦都放下，后来自己去找那首插曲，才知道这首歌叫做Copacabana。事实上我错了，Copacabana不是想我想象的那样一种轻松的小调，在南美音乐奔放的旋律下，隐藏的是一个辛酸的故事，不过瑞秋那种演绎方式也许是我产生错觉的原因，那种懒洋洋的声音 ，加上乐手慢吞吞的演奏让人觉得不似拉美曲风而更像是乡村音乐。 歌名Copacabana是一个地名，在拉美Copacabana算是常见的名字，在 *** 里就可以看到玻利维亚，巴西，哥伦比亚都有这样的地名，甚至在袋鼠国的新南威尔士也有这样的地名。歌曲里面的那个Copacabana是在古巴的哈瓦那，不过 *** 里倒是没提到哈瓦那有这个地名。Copacabana的原唱是Barry Manilow，翻唱的很多，包括邓丽君也曾经翻唱过这首歌，貌似除了瑞秋的版本，基本都是以一种很欢快的拉丁风格来表现，也许就是这种欢快和歌词描述的杯具冲突才令人觉得心酸吧。纯粹叙事性的歌词很平淡，因为到At the Copa....she lost her love这一段来看这个故事本身其实算是平淡无奇吧，革命前的古巴ms比西西里岛还罪恶，当然故事没有这样就结束，很快就三十年后了，古巴革命大概也过有二十年，这二十年，Lola作为一个 *** 在新古巴会是什么样的地位可想而知，像这样的小人物在这两种社会形态的转变下不变的始终是受欺凌和被侮辱的人生，眨眼间就是七十年代末的迪厅了Lola的哀伤ms也褪色了，只剩下一个冷冰冰的事实描述She lost her youth and she lost her Tony.Now shes lost her mind!个人的命运除了让同情者唏嘘不已或许在历史的面前真的是那么微不足道。 Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there She would merengue and do the cha-cha And while she tried to be a star, Tony always tended bar Across a crowded floor, they worked from 8 till 4 They were young and they had each other Who could ask for more?
