《七月与安生》由陈可辛、许月珍监制，曾国祥执导，周冬雨、马思纯、李程彬主演，该片讲述了两个从13岁开始就相识的女孩七月和安生，心心相惜成为彼此最好的朋友。机缘巧合之下，七月和安生爱上了同一个叫做“家明”的男生，最终得到各自命运的安排。
此次窦靖童为电影《七月与安生》创作并演唱主题曲，是一次全新的尝试。《(Its not a crime) Its just what we do》曲风轻快，配合空灵随性的唱腔，歌词细腻而忧伤，展现了女孩少年时代的美丽和哀愁。
