英语语法 数词

用来表示多少和第几的词叫数词。数词可分为基数词和序数词两类。

1. 基数词：用来表示多少的词叫基数词。

①13-19 后面都是teen，20-90 后面都是ty.

② 35 → thirty-five 29 → twenty-nine

③179 → one hundred and seventy – nine 205 → two hundred and five

④5893→ five thousand eight hundred and ninety-three

基数词中没有百、千的单位词，用千（thousand）和百万（million）来表达数字。

1万=10 thousand 1亿=100 million 10亿=a thousand million= 1 billion

2. 基数词的用法

①当基数词hundred, thousand, million和billion表示大量的确定的数目时，不能在词尾+s.

two hundred students 200个学生 five thousand years 5000年

②当基数词hundreds, thousands, millions和 billions表示大量的不确定的数目，后面+of。

hundreds of people 数以百计的人 thousands of trees 成千上万棵树

3. 序数词的用法

表示第几的词叫序数词。除特殊情况外，序数词一般由相应的基数词加后缀-th构成。

第61 → sixty-first 95 → ninety- fifth

序数词缩写成 *** 数字 first → 1st second→ 2nd ninety-fifth → 95th
