除…外还有（除什么之外）

1. apart from是介词短语，意为“除了……外(都)；除了……外(还)；此外”，可以包括也可以不包括被排除的部分，有besides和except for之意，通常放在句首。

Apart from the yellow pencil,I also have a green pencil in my pencil box.

2.but作介词时，意为“除……之外；除了”，表示从整体中除去部分，且不包括除去的部分，常用于anything， nobody，everybody，none，all等复合词后。

I have no choice but to listen to him.

but后可接动词不定式，如果but前有实义动词do的某种形式，其后的不定式须省略to。

He could do nothing but help her.

3.except是介词，意为“除了……之外”，表示从整体中除去部分，且不包括被排除的部分，与but同义。被论述物与被排除物属同类事物。其后可接副词，介词短语及从句等(此时不能用but)。

Li works every day except Sunday.

I didnt tell him anything except that I was tired.

4.besides作介词时，意为“除了……之外(还有)”，具有肯定和附加性质，包括被排除部分在内，相当于in addition to。

I can speak French besides Chinese and English.

5.except for意为“除了；只是”，用来引出理由或细节以修正前面概括性的说法，即先整体肯定或否定，再后用except for修正。被论述物与被排除物不属于同类事物，有主次或从属关系。
